Robert Post was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 25, 1969.

Early on, Robert set a personal goal of becoming a professional artist. He studied Advertising Design and Architecture at the University of Southwestern Louisiana. Later, he moved to Denver, Colorado where he attended the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. There he spent three years developing his skills as a fine artist. The works of Robert Bateman and Stanley Meltzoff inspired him.

In 2003, Robert began his journey of creating a world of whimsical underwater characters called the Reefies™. These fun sculptures can be found in private collections and in public spaces. His sea turtle sculpture is currently on display at The Mississippi Aquarium. In his studio, Robert currently splits his time between painting and sculpting.

He has won several awards with his artwork, and has been featured in local, national, and international exhibitions. Robert has also recently completed paintings that were published by The Walt Disney Company. His original Disney paintings and limited-edition prints can be found in The Art of Disney gallery locations.

Robert currently resides in Covington, Louisiana with his wife, Cassie, and daughters Isabella and Ashley.
